Buns & Bubbles is a French-style café where you can find tastybreads, cakes, pastries and more, baked fresh daily. They also offer a wide range of teas, coffee and popular drinks like Taiwanese bubble tea. We were challenged to create a memorable identity within the saturated fast-casual cafe market.

We set out to capture the spirit of Buns & Bubbles with a brandidentity that’s lighthearted and eye-catching. The logo has two main elements: icon + wordmark. In each case, we capitalized on the ‘u’ letters, creating motifs for buns and bubbles as iconic representations of all that is sweet and delicious at the café, from bakery items to drink offerings. The visual simplicity is a quick-read for consumers, inviting them in, while elements of warmth and familiarity round out the identity of this colorful themed café.
